To adjust the length of the lanyard, follow this process:

  • To make it shorter: Hold a tab between your first finger and thumb on each hand, then slide both tabs apart in line with your shoulders.
  • To extend: Pull one strand from the lanyard while moving the tab towards the back. Repeat the same process on the other side.

No, the Smart Protect doesn’t require a smartphone. It runs on GSM which runs on multiple networks.
